Welcome to the Classroom!
Here Plumas County students grow as artists as they explore the elements of art and principles of design. They use a variety of media and techniques in two and three dimensional form to create artwork that reflect effort, originality, and creativity. Students learn how different people and cultures around the world, throughout time, create art as a means of personal expression. They are able to describe, analyze, interpret, and evaluate their work and the work of others. Throughout the year students have the opportunity to exhibit their artwork in the community, participate in service learning, and visit local galleries including the Nevada Museum of Art.
